We know the world is mad
When we all have formed
Protective mechanisms 
From eternal pain
That black hole inside us all

Alcohol and other drugs
Addictions to mask the anxiety
Filled with fear and loneliness 
Symbols of our weakness 
Everywhere we see and hear

Reaching for the social goal
More money, shared less equally
All for me, none for you
Dictators of the corporation
They rule us all

Freedoms call is loud and clear
We are not broken, the system is
Protected by our survival gift
We keep that love of life
Deep beyond the event horizon

Water is the elixir of life
Shared in communion of living true
Dancing in the fields that grow
Food for our ever changing
Ability to search for the roots

At the core of it all
Knowing we are one
Partners in love of truth
Breaking the cycle
Of our societal madness

You are the one that I love
From all that will come
I am here now with you
You are my everything
I will take care and love you
