Knife and chemical attack at a factory in Japan

On Friday, December 26, workers at a Yokohama Rubber Company tire manufacturing plant in Mishima, located in the Shizuoka prefecture which is west of Tokyo, were assaulted by a 38-year-old man using both a knife and what authorities believe was bleach. A 38-year-old man who was arrested at the scene. At least 15 people were injured in total, some with serious injuries requiring treatment in hospital.

United States, Florida: A man fatally stabs a Barnes & Noble bookstore shopper, claims 'no cause' to police

On Monday, December 22, shortly before 8 p.m., a 65-year-old woman was stabbed badly with a pocketknife inside a Barnes & Noble bookstore within the Legacy Place shopping center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Police said it was an unprovoked attack. The victim died in a hospital shortly after, and the suspect was caught about 500 meters from the bookstore and brought into custody on first-degree murder.

A Baltimore Police Department detective was hospitalized on Monday evening, December 22, in the neighborhood of Mid-Govans located in North Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The officer was in stable condition after being hit by a police car at around 5:30pm during a foot chase of a suspect in block 5600 of York Road.

The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has been renamed to "The Trump and Kennedy Center for The Performing Arts." by President Donald J. Trump from a board vote by the Kennedy Center board and staff. Several officials called it illegal allegedly because a board vote can not outrule Congressional decision.
