Movie: Switch to a Smarter Energy Future
Summary
A US centric view of energy as the most important issue facing humanity. Oddly, the film fails to compare the success of the US program with the European perspective. As Germany reaches 30% renewable energy with far fewer natural renewable resources, the US is still stuck in the large energy mentality of 5-10 years to change anything. Reality is that nothing can change as quickly as the switch to renewable energy. Germany is installing gigawatts of solar photovoltaic every quarter, producing more power than conventional non-renewable energy sources in timeframes the old fossil/uranium industries can't even conceive of.
